Responsibilities
- Extract, manipulate, analyze, and report data to internal and external constituencies.
- Collaborates with teams to develop metrics for evaluation of ongoing programs and to support operation decisions.
- Works with existing data repositories to answer research questions of interest to stakeholders.
- Designs or adapts questionnaires to create new metrics for evaluation of various programs to support operations.
- Creates algorithms to merge data into new datasets. Identifies new sources of data and methods to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Uses statistical methods to determine the effectiveness and efficacy of programmatic initiatives.
- Creates PowerPoint presentations of key findings from evaluations and/or development initiatives.
- Presents key metrics from program evaluations to key stakeholders.
- Collaborates with team members across the institution to access data and articulate data requirements.
- Manages the process for delivering monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
- Develops reports and deliverables for management and communicates with all levels of stakeholders.
- Ensures compliance with deliverable reporting requirements by performing quality data audits and analysis.
- May train new and less experienced analysts in database management procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Proficiency in manipulating and analyzing complex data from varying sources.
- Experience in empirical research and answering hard questions with data.
- Experience with quantitative and qualitative research analyses and statistical methods; proficiency with statistical tools such as SPSS, SAS, or similar analytic tools.
- Advanced dashboard building experience using visualization tools such as but not limited to Tableau.
- Excellent written and verbal skills, including an aptitude for listening and the capability to educate through both written and verbal communications.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of colleagues as part of a diverse and dynamic team.
