We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Data Analyst to join our growing team.
Power BI Development project:
Focus: SQL, DBT, and limited use of Azure for Power BI solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
- Utilize DBT to implement transformations and data modeling in Snowflake.
- Work with DAX to optimize Power BI calculations and performance.
- Integrate data sources and ensure data consistency across reports.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs.
- Ensure data security and governance best practices within Power BI and Azure.
Requirements:
- SQL Expertise: Strong knowledge of SQL for data querying, transformations, and performance optimization.
- Power BI: Experience in building Power BI dashboards and reports.
- DAX: Ability to write DAX expressions to create complex calculations in Power BI.
- DBT: Experience with data modeling and transformations using DBT.
- Azure Data Services: Experience with data-related Azure services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, or Event Grid.
- Proficiency with AI Productivity Enablement tools: Experience using AI-powered development tools like GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT.
Optional Requirements:
- Python: Basic Python skills to manipulate data or automate workflows.
- API Integration: Ability to consume and call APIs for data enrichment.
- Git & CI/CD: Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD practices for deploying Power BI reports and DBT models.
