Job Description:

Since its opening in 1925, Fairmount Park Casino & Racing has been the cornerstone of excitement in the St. Louis metro area. As the only horse racing track outside of the Chicago region, we offer the thrill of Thoroughbred flat racing, cutting-edge gaming options, including nearly 300 of the latest slot machines, video poker, electronic table games, simulcast wagering and off-track betting at multiple locations across Illinois. SUMMARY

We’re looking for a commercially-minded, data-driven Data Analyst to support and evolve our player rewards and reinvestment strategies. You’ll work closely with marketing, player development, and finance teams to uncover actionable insights, optimize offers, and help personalize the player experience across our properties.

You don’t need prior gaming industry experience — but you should have a strong background in customer analytics, loyalty programs, or promotional performance, and be comfortable using CRM platforms like Salesforce and working with transactional and behavioral data.

This role provides the opportunity to work directly with player activity and loyalty data from Konami’s SYNKROS slot accounting system, and Salesforce, blending transactional behavior with CRM insights.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilize advanced analytic techniques including machine learning and artificial intelligence to improve decision making
  • Analyze player behavior and gaming activity captured through KONAMI SYNKROS to support reinvestment strategies, loyalty program optimization, and targeted promotions.
  • Leverage player data to build segmented audiences, track campaign performance, and understand player lifecycle trends.
  • Identify trends in player frequency, player visits, tier movement, reactivation, and churn risk across multiple casino properties.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI, or Excel for both operational and executive audiences.
  • Partner with marketing and player development to test offers and campaigns; assess ROI and recommend improvements.
  • Support reinvestment strategy with data-driven insights that improve player engagement and loyalty outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2–5 years of experience in data analytics focused on customer behavior, loyalty, or promotional effectiveness is required
  • Must be located in and work on site at our St. Louis or Las Vegas office
  • Bachelor’s degree needed in a highly numerate major (Computer Science, Math, Stats, Econ, etc.); MS degree preferred
  • Knowledge of A/B testing, experimental design, and hypothesis testing methods
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large transactional datasets.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Database, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
  • Ability to communicate complex insights clearly to business stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with KONAMI SYNKROS
  • Familiarity with reinvestment, comp balancing, or player development in gaming or hospitality.
  • Working knowledge of Python or R for deeper analysis and automation.

Base Pay Range:

$90,000 - $110,000

This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The base salary will depend on a number of factors such as: qualifications, experience level, and skillset.
