Why this role can be a strong step in your career
If you enjoy combining data, processes and real business impact, this role will give you exactly that balance. You won’t just build reports—you’ll help shape how Operations understands performance, identifies improvement opportunities and makes decisions based on data.
You’ll work closely with Operations and IT, translating business needs into clear requirements, building meaningful KPIs and contributing to process improvement initiatives. This is a role where your analytical work directly influences efficiency, service quality and outcomes.
At NN Spain, you’ll do this in an environment where your development really matters. You’ll be part of a company with the stability of a leading financial services group, combined with a people‑centric culture, flexible working and genuine opportunities to grow your skills in data, analytics and operations.
What this position offers
Real impact through data
You will help define and standardise operational KPIs that are actually used to make decisions around SLAs, capacity and productivity. Your work will directly influence how teams operate.
End‑to‑end visibility of operations
You’ll gain a deep understanding of operational processes, working across functions and collaborating with SMEs and IT teams.
Hands‑on development in SQL and Power BI
You’ll actively use SQL for data extraction and validation, and Power BI to build and maintain dashboards—strengthening practical, in-demand skills.
Exposure to transformation and continuous improvement
You’ll support initiatives linked to automation and process optimisation, tracking their impact and contributing to better ways of working.
A flexible and supportive environment
You’ll work in a hybrid model with a team that values clarity, collaboration and professional growth, giving you space to learn and develop at your own pace.
Common doubts (and clear answers)
“Is this a purely reporting role?”
No. Reporting is part of the role, but the focus is on generating insights, supporting decision‑making and contributing to process improvements.
“Will I have support to develop technically?”
Yes. You’re not expected to know everything from day one. You’ll build on your SQL and Power BI knowledge while working closely with more experienced colleagues.
“Is this more business or technical?”
It’s a hybrid role. You’ll need to understand business processes while using data and tools to support analysis and performance tracking.
What will help you succeed in this role
  • Experience (1–3 years) in analysis, operations or reporting
This gives you the foundation to understand business needs and translate them into structured analysis and outputs.
  • Working knowledge of SQL
You’ll use it to extract, reconcile and validate data. You don’t need to be an expert, but being comfortable with joins and aggregations will help you be effective from the start.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar tools
You’ll maintain and improve dashboards, so familiarity with reporting tools will allow you to deliver value quickly.
  • Structured thinking and attention to detail
You’ll work with KPIs, definitions and data validation, where consistency and accuracy are key.
  • Interest in processes and continuous improvement
Understanding how operations work will help you identify inefficiencies and contribute to better solutions.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with different stakeholders
You’ll interact with Operations and IT, so being able to explain data and insights in a simple way is essential.
Your mission
Your mission is to support NN Spain Operations in improving performance and decision‑making by structuring data, defining clear KPIs and translating business needs into actionable insights and reliable reporting.
Key responsibilities
  • Define and maintain standardised operational KPIs and a clear metrics framework to ensure consistent measurement across Operations.
  • Analyze and report performance data using SQL and Power BI to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Support operational reporting needs, including recurring performance tracking and finance-related outputs, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Collaborate with Operations and IT to translate business requirements into data and reporting solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by tracking outcomes, supporting analysis and helping document processes and changes.
If you want your work to go beyond dashboards
This is a role where you can grow as an analyst while understanding how a business really operates—and where your insights help improve it.
If you’re looking for a position that combines data, processes and impact in a company that invests in your development, this could be your next step.
