YOUR ROLEAs a Mid-Level Data Analyst, you’ll work with large and complex datasets to deliver clear, actionable insights that help drive decision-making across the business. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, analyze trends, and ensure data quality and visibility. This role is ideal for someone early in their analytics career, or with a relevant academic background, who’s ready to grow and take ownership of business-critical data analysis.
YOUR CHALLENGES & OPPORTUNITIESPartner with Stakeholders – Work cross-functionally to gather business requirements and translate them into data analysis tasks.
Extract & Analyze Data – Use SQL, Spark, and Python to clean, transform, and analyze large datasets.
Generate Insights – Identify patterns, trends, and business opportunities from historical data, and present your findings clearly.
Support Ad-Hoc Requests – Respond to time-sensitive data requests, delivering quick and accurate analysis to inform decision-making.
Improve Data Processes – Identify inefficiencies in current data workflows and collaborate with data engineering and IT teams to improve them.
Enhance Data Infrastructure – Contribute to building scalable and reliable data pipelines and documentation for ongoing analytics work.
Contribute to BI Development – Help build and maintain dashboards and reports that enable self-service data exploration.
A proactive, self-motivated individual with a growth mindset
Strong critical thinking skills and a desire to understand complex datasets
Confident communicator who can explain data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Hands-on experience as a data analyst or a degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline
Good knowledge of SQL for data querying and transformation
Experience using Python for data analysis
Experience working with large datasets using tools like Spark (or willingness to learn)
Familiarity with business intelligence tools or dashboarding platforms (e.g. Looker, Power BI, Tableau)
Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities
