NDAX has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated student to join us as a Data Analyst Intern.
This role is an on-site job and we are looking for someone based in Calgary.
- Working towards a bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (Must be in the 3rd or 4th year)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or R
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Knowledge of AI tools for data science like ChatGPT and Copilot
- Understanding of statistical concepts and techniques
- Experience with data cleaning, manipulation, and analysis
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Clean, transform, and analyze large datasets to extract insights and identify trends.
- Assist in the development and implementation of data models and algorithms.
- Conduct statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to support decision-making processes.
- Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various data-driven initiatives.
- Hourly rate of $18
