Because of our recent growth, we're seeking a driven data analyst intern to work alongside our Head of Finance and data team to dig into what is working and what isn't across our business.
Who we're looking for:
We are looking for a Data Analyst Intern with a sharp eye for detail and a burgeoning passion for transforming data into actionable insights. This role will align well with one's growing skillset if pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. A robust analytical mindset, capable of identifying trends and anomalies, and an eagerness to thrive in the fast-paced ecosystem of a startup will lend to success in this role.
What you'll be doing:
- Translate raw datasets into actionable business insights, with a keen eye for detail and an ability to spot data trends or errors.
- Develop complex models in Excel/Google Sheets to transform business data into meaningful insights.
- Gain hands-on experience with BI tools such as Metabase, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI to visualize data and aid in decision-making.
- Apply your academic knowledge to real-world user and financial data analysis.
- Work efficiently, delivering projects swiftly and iterating based on feedback.
- Collaborate across teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions that drive business value.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement, suggest system/process modifications, and contribute to data governance strategies.
Your Competencies:
- Strong foundational skills in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Basic understanding of SQL and an eagerness to learn and apply SQL and BI tools.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Math, or a related field.
- An analytical mindset with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Qualities You Possess:
- An interest in learning about SaaS Metrics like MRR, ARR, churn rate.
- Curiosity about programming in Python or R.
- A mindset focused on how analytics drive business impact.
- A naturally curious nature, always seeking new perspectives in data analysis.
- Interest in the No-Code industry.
