ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-End BI Solution Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust Business Intelligence (BI) reports and dashboards. This includes frequent development of semantic models, ETL processes for data transformation, creating compelling data visualizations, and continuously optimizing ETL flows for efficiency and performance.
Data Engineering & Programming Expertise: Leverage big data ETL platforms e.g Informatica and programming languages (Python, Scala or equivalent) to build scalable and efficient data pipelines.
Strategic Data Storytelling: Leverage strong analytical and critical thinking skills to translate business questions into measurable metrics, insightful visualizations, and compelling data-driven narratives. You will conduct various forms of analysis, including descriptive, correlation, and predictive analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights from complex datasets. You will be expected to present your findings clearly and persuasively to diverse stakeholders.
Independent Project Ownership: Take full ownership of data analytics projects from start to finish. This involves proactively clarifying business requirements, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to acquire necessary data, performing ETL for data transformation, validating results, and ultimately delivering high-quality analytical insights. We value independent initiative and a proactive problem-solving approach.
Continuous Learning & Adaptation: Quickly adapt to and master new BI solutions and ETL tools. We expect you to be a quick learner and comfortable with exploring and implementing new technologies as needed.
Effective Communication: Communicate complex technical concepts and analytical findings clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, to English-speaking stakeholders across all levels of the organization. You will be a key liaison between technical and business teams.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
4 to 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, BI Specialist, BI Developer or similar role, with a strong focus on BI report development and data analysis.
Proficiency in SQL and ETL tools (e.g Informatica, Airflow, etc.) with proven track record of developing and optimizing ETL processes and creating impactful data visualizations.
Hands-on experience in designing and maintaining semantic models using YAML or TypeScript
Solid experience in statistical analysis, machine learning, AI concepts.
Demonstrated strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate business needs into data solutions.
Exceptional independence and a proactive approach to problem-solving; comfortable taking initiative and driving projects autonomously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Optional Requirements (nice to have)
Experience with Google Data Analytics and BigQuery, particularly for analyzing mobile user behavior.
Practical experience integrating existing AI/ML tools or products into data pipelines or analytical workflows.
Experience on operational management, food and beverage industry.
