Position Summary

As data becomes increasingly critical to operational efficiency, business intelligence, and strategic decision-making, the Data Analyst III plays a key role in transforming enterprise data into actionable insights that drive business outcomes. This position supports the Data Services team by developing and maintaining dashboards, performing advanced data analysis, monitoring data quality metrics, and delivering meaningful reporting solutions across Customer, Supplier, Item, and other master data domains.

The Data Analyst III works closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, MDM teams, and leadership to identify trends, measure operational performance, and enable data-driven decision making. Leveraging modern analytics platforms including Databricks, Informatica, cloud technologies, and visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau, this role helps Regal Rexnord maximize the value of its enterprise data assets while improving data visibility, governance, and business performance.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

Dashboard Development & Reporting

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise dashboards and scorecards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms.
• Create meaningful visualizations that communicate trends, business performance, operational metrics, and data quality indicators.
• Develop self-service reporting solutions that enable business users to access data insights efficiently.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable dashboard solutions.
• Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and alignment with enterprise data definitions and governance standards.

Data Analysis & Insights

• Perform exploratory and advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for business improvement.
• Develop KPIs, operational metrics, and scorecards to measure business performance and data quality.
• Support root cause analysis for data quality and business process issues.
• Deliver actionable recommendations based on data findings and business requirements.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives and operational decision-making.

Master Data & Data Quality Support

• Analyze Customer, Supplier, Item, and other enterprise master data domains.
• Support MDM and Data Quality initiatives through data profiling, validation, cleansing, and monitoring activities.
• Develop data quality dashboards and scorecards to measure completeness, accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
• Collaborate with Data Stewards and business teams to identify and resolve data quality issues.

Data Platform & Analytics Support

• Query and analyze large datasets using Databricks, SQL, and cloud-based data platforms.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to validate data pipelines and reporting datasets.
• Support data model validation, metric definitions, and reporting layer design.
• Ensure data used for reporting is reliable, available, and aligned with business requirements.
• Participate in testing and validation of new analytics solutions and enhancements.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and identify opportunities for analytics-driven improvements.
• Present analytical findings and recommendations to various business and technical audiences.
• Document reporting logic, KPI definitions, business rules, and analytical methodologies.
• Provide end-user support and training for analytics and reporting solutions.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in one of the following:

• Computer Science
• Information Technology
• Data Science
• Statistics
• Mathematics
• Engineering
• Business Analytics
• Or equivalent experience

Experience

Required

• 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or analytics.
• Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Strong SQL development and data analysis experience.
• Experience working with large datasets from multiple enterprise systems.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into analytical solutions.
• Experience supporting data quality, KPI development, and performance metrics.

Preferred

• Experience working with Master Data Management (MDM) solutions.
• Experience with Informatica MDM and Informatica IDQ.
• Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, or cloud analytics platforms.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP environments.
• Experience supporting data governance initiatives.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Python for data analysis and automation.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
