About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Analyst III to join our team. The ideal candidate will apply their deep understanding of quantitative analysis, investigative analytics, and data presentation to develop and maintain complex reports and dashboards that significantly impact leadership decisions.
As a Data Analyst III, you will partner with workstream leads, business analysts, and product teams to provide subject matter expertise on data, ensuring measurable outcomes and validating experiments. You will leverage cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders to understand business needs, define problems, and ensure your analysis and insights align with business objectives. This role is pivotal in transforming raw data into clear, actionable narratives that inform critical business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advanced Analytics & Insight Delivery: Lead the development and maintenance of complex reports, dashboards, and data models. Apply expertise in quantitative analysis and data mining to deliver actionable analytics and insights that drive strategic decisions.
- Stakeholder Partnership & Communication: Serve as a key liaison between the data team and internal stakeholders. Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses, present findings to senior management, and influence decision-making through clear, data-driven recommendations.
- Project Leadership & Collaboration: Independently manage and coordinate data analytics projects from inception to completion. Partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements, mitigate risks, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality, valuable solutions.
- Data Product Lifecycle Management: Participate in all phases of the internal data product lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and post-launch optimization, with a focus on driving continuous improvement.

- SQL: Ability to write and troubleshoot complex queries involving joins, aggregations, subqueries, and CTEs.
- Data Visualization and BI Tooling: Hands-on experience building dashboards, reports, and visualizations in at least one enterprise BI platform (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) with a strong understanding of chart selection, filtering, and end-user usability.
- Spreadsheet Fluency: Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, lookup/index-match functions, conditional logic, and data cleanup techniques.
- Cloud Data Platform Exposure: Familiarity with a modern data warehouse or lakehouse environment such as Snowflake or Databricks.
- Data Quality and Validation: Demonstrated ability to profile datasets, identify anomalies and gaps, reconcile figures across sources, and document assumptions and known limitations.
- AI-Enabled Analytics: Explores and applies emerging technologies, including the development of AI-powered agents and automated solutions, to streamline analytical workflows and help business stakeholders access insights more efficiently.
- Business Systems Awareness: General understanding of enterprise systems such as CRM (Salesforce).
- Product & Customer Telemetry Analysis (Preferred): Experience working with high-volume, event-based data (e.g., product usage or application logs) to analyze customer behavior, measure feature adoption, and identify performance trends.
- Statistical Programming (Preferred): Proficiency in a statistical programming language like Python for advanced data manipulation, automation, and statistical analysis is a strong plus.

- Strong attention to detail with a habit of self-auditing work before it reaches a stakeholder.
