Job DescriptionYou enjoy the fundamentals of survey research and data analysis. You understand the basics of sample frames, plans, estimation and selection in the research cycle. You’re curious about local market population nuances, and how to adapt to meet the goals for each local area. You’re excited to improve the current tools with automation.
Job Summary
- Support and enhance existing sampling processes.
- Estimate sample needs by reviewing performance metrics.
- Select sample records based on specifications.
- Complete recurring operational tasks.
- Monitor data collection to ensure study is progressing as planned and meeting timelines, and that quota groups are being met.
- Develop, test, and maintain sampling applications in Python.
- Extract data from platforms using SQL.
- Utilizes tools such as Python, Tableau, SAS, etc. to perform complex data analysis, develop tools for automating procedures, and create visualizations to deliver insights into survey performance.
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 1-2 years of relevant research and data analytics experience
- Knowledge of survey sampling methodologies and data collection techniques
- Well-organized and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated success and effectiveness working in a time-critical production environment
- Expertise in analytics programming languages, such as Python (with Pandas) and R
- Basic experience in SQL or PySpark
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and/or Google Office Apps
- Familiarity with BI, Spotfire, Tableau or other data visualization software and techniques
- Excellent English and Spanish oral and written communication skills
