Data Analyst I

TransCore (TRN), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking two (2) full-time Data Analysts to join our Raleigh, North Carolina Quality Assurance Team.

Summary: Provides day-to-day technical support for toll systems operations including assisting support personnel on software, hardware related issue triage and resolution. Execution of daily, weekly, or monthly related system audits to ensure accuracy compliance and system stability. Deployment of toll system software maintenance related upgrades, facilitating system tuning parameters, and ensure post deployment issues are resolved given analytics and reporting. Assist Project support teams during installation and commissioning activities of Toll related systems.

Essential (Mandatory) Skills and Responsibilities:

• This is an onsite position for the Raleigh NC TransCore Office.
• Executes daily, weekly, monthly system analysis and audits.
• Possesses strong SQL and Reporting skills with a strong knowledge of database query, data retrieval, and data analysis.
• Proficient with MS Office suite and other related analytics tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail driven with a commitment to data accuracy and timely delivery.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Required Education and Experience:

• 1-3 years of analytical experience for complex technical system or equivalent associates, or BS technical degree with required skill set.
• Proficient and have experience in data analytics, reporting, and auditing techniques.
• Strong working knowledge of hardware, software testing or test fundamentals.

Additional Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

• Automation or scripting skills.
• Power BI, Tableau, or related data visualization experience.
• General knowledge of MS Active Directory.
• Familiarity with operating systems such as Linux and Windows OS.
• Disaster Recovery scenario and use case validation.
