YOUR MISSION

Support the optimization of logistics features, with a focus on delivery areas and supply/demand imbalances, by maintaining and improving settings, quantifying their impact, providing data-driven insights, coordinating feature rollouts, and measuring their effectiveness.


THE JOURNEY 

  • Work closely with local/regional stakeholders, product teams and development teams, serving as a bridge between product and operations, to define how to best set up and enable  products, monitor and give visibility of metrics and KPIs.
  • Deep-dive on business metrics, in order to explore areas of opportunity and enable data-driven decision-making, based on applied statistics and probability techniques
  • Develop and maintain scalable and self-service visualization tools and storytelling dashboards.
  • Build optimization processes to define the best tuning of every feature on each geography.
  • Build robust relationships with stakeholders acting as a strategic and supportive link between the technology, business and product.
  • Support recurrent processes within the team, enabling the adjustment of tools to business needs
  • Continuously explore and refine key operational metrics (delivery time, efficiency, costs), gaining a comprehensive understanding of Glovo’s logistics.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • 1-2 years of professional experience outside of an academic and internship setting,
    in a quantitative analysis role
  • Excellent SQL and Excel/GoogleSheet skills
  • Solid proficiency in statistical programming (Python/R) and experience working with popular tools such as Pandas, SciPy, Seaborn, Jupyter/iPython notebooks, R Markdown.
  • Knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, ...
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Great spoken and written English.
