Job DescriptionStep into Ubisoft’s Data Office, a 350-member team turning data into real-time decisions that enhance our games and player experiences.
You will join the Game Business Performance Data Domain, whose main goal is to provide live analytics and tracking tools to production teams regarding game activity and monetization.
This growing team is looking for a Data Analyst to assist with the following responsibilities:
Support production teams in monitoring performance indicators (ARM: acquisition, retention, and monetization) and in providing data-driven recommendations:
- Create, develop, and automate reports for monetization managers.
- Design a common framework of tools for in-game activity analysis.
- Provide benchmarks and performance evaluation of ARM compared to other Ubisoft games and past performance.
- Use data from the entire Ubisoft catalog to obtain strategic insights for the lifecycle of our games.
In collaboration with our Data Science team:
- Develop advanced analytical features, such as outlier detection, causal inference, and pattern recognition in time series.
- Assist external teams with ARM forecasting.
In collaboration with our Data Strategy teams:
- Participate in the development and execution of the group’s Data strategy.
- Contribute to defining KPIs related to game performance and activity.
Candidates with a background in analyzing gaming data, player engagement metrics, or in-game performance trends are highly encouraged to apply.
Qualifications- Experience analyzing gaming data or a passion for understanding game dynamics and user experience through data. - Preferred.
- You have a background in data analysis or statistical methods.
- You are proficient in SQL.
- Experience with Tableau or Power BI is highly valued.
- Your passion for gaming will be a critical factor in your success, enabling you to thrive in this role and deliver meaningful insights and results.
- You have excellent interpersonal skills and can collaborate with all types of stakeholders.
- You are fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Outstanding communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights that are easily understood by non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of a programming language (such as Python or R) is a plus.
