ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking motivated Fraud Data Analyst and a team leader who are passionate, results focused to take accountability in the Fraud Prevention and Detection Team. You will be part of our operation team and will be responsible for contributing to fraud and scams prevention and detection decisions, policy and processes.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide fraud analysis and create reports to support the prevention and detection of fraud and scams. You’ll play a key role in delivering strategic and operational goals by:

  • Execute code and compile a variety of data extracts as required
  • Extract meaningful insights from a range of information and develop presentations/visualisations for management
  • Provide analysis that supports clear, actionable recommendations that directly support business objectives
  • Partner with operational teams to measure and improve key performance indicators
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes for data extraction, transformation and loading.
  • Take responsibility for compilation, production and distribution of standardised daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
  • Undertake thematic analysis on rule driven scenarios to identify possible financial crime indicators.
  • Execute ad-hoc analysis and extraction scripts in support of operations teams
  • Fulfil other tasks as assigned by your People Leader and/or authorized representative of NAB Vietnam from time to time.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Essential Capabilities:

  • From +4 years of experience working knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, SAS, Python, PySpark, Scala, R
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Data visualisation (Power BI preferred)
  • Desirable: Understanding of AML CTF Act and NAB’s AML/CTF Program

Experience:

  • Strong data analytics and data mining experience and working with large datasets and different data lakes.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing code (SQL, Python) to extract and transform datasets into useable information.

Nice to have:

  • Track record of delivering business impact through data-driven recommendations
  • Experience in working within Financial Crime operating environment for 2-5 years,
  • Exposure to Financial Crime risk indicators and regulatory environment
