As a Fintech Data Analyst at FREE NOW, you will play an important role within our expanding end-to-end Fintech Data Team. This position offers a platform for creativity and innovation, providing you with the opportunity to collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and fellow Data Analysts. Our team is dedicated to leveraging data to inform decision-making processes within the company, particularly in the realms of Risk, Fraud, and Payment.

YOUR DAILY ADVENTURES WILL INCLUDE:

Data Analysis

• Conduct thorough data analysis to support the Fintech and Data teams, focusing on providing actionable insights.
• Differentiate between high-risk and low-risk transactions, and assess the utilization and risk associated with various payment methods.
• Utilize advanced analytical techniques to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in financial data.

Data Visualisation

• Design and develop comprehensive and insightful dashboards to visualize KPIs, trends, and performance indicators.
• Use data visualization tools to present complex financial data in a clear and accessible manner, facilitating informed decision-making.

Testing/Validation

• Collaborate with the Fintech and Data teams to develop and execute testing strategies for new algorithms, models, and data processing pipelines.
• Conduct thorough testing to validate the accuracy, reliability, and performance of data analysis and predictive models.

Stakeholder Management

• Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, particularly Product managers and other data professionals.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their requirements, gather feedback, and ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

You are a problem solver, detail-oriented, and self-motivated who thrives in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment, combining technical, product, business, and leadership perspectives. Further key aspects of your profile are:

• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Engineering, or other fields with a strong mathematical-statistical background.
• Very good knowledge of SQL and databases, and strong knowledge of statistical analysis tools (e.g. R, python).
• Experiences in working with Data Visualisation tools (e.g.Tableau, Qlikview, Looker).
• Exceptional analytical skills, lateral thinking, and experience in solving challenging problems. Focused on delivering results, working to targets, reviewing processes, and adapting quickly.
• Fluent in Business English.
• Knowledge about Data Science models and Data Engineering pipelines is a plus.
