This is a data analyst role within the Worldwide Cost Accounting hub operation based in Penang. You will join a dynamic team and are expected to use both technical and analytical skills to provide support and insights to business partners from various organizations worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end cost accounting operation supports from standard cost setting to variance analysis and inventory reconciliation.
- Support internal, external, and SOX process audits, walk-through and/ or reviews.
- Support corporate / enterprise-wide projects - M&A, ERP upgrade and implementation.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvement and digitalization initiatives – automation, data mining.
- Improve reporting capability – better data insight and data visualization.
- Bachelor's Degree major in Finance/ Accounting/ Information Technology/ Information System/ Statistic/ Science / Mathematic or professional qualification.
- Working experience in MNC finance or accounting environment will be an added advantage.
- Possess knowledge of accounting concepts and double entries.
- Proficiency in SAP and familiar with Microsoft 365.
- Added advantage experience:
- Worked in MNC finance or accounting environment.
- Big data modelling / MS Access automation/ Excel, Power BI and data languages – SQL, VBA, Python.
