Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly analytical and business-oriented Data Analyst to join our Analytics division. This role focuses on transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organisation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, data modelling, and translating complex datasets into intuitive dashboards and reports. A deep understanding of data relationships, visual storytelling, and a passion for enabling data-driven decision-making are essential.
Duties & Job Responsibilities- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to deliver actionable insights aligned with business objectives.
- Build robust data models in Power BI using DAX and industry best practices to enable scalable and efficient reporting.
- Analyse large and complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and performance indicators that inform strategic and operational decisions.
- Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
- Maintain high standards of data quality and integrity by validating data sources, ensuring accurate transformations, and monitoring refresh pipelines.
- Support the organisation's analytics capabilities by creating reusable datasets, promoting data literacy, and enabling self-service reporting for business users.
- Leverage SQL and Python for data manipulation, transformation, and automation of recurring analytics tasks.
- Apply data science techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, or forecasting to support advanced analytical use cases (preferred).
Data Manager
- Maintain regular communication to align priorities, share progress updates, and ensure reporting standards meet organisational requirements.
Business Analysts
- Collaborate to understand business needs, translate requirements into data solutions, and generate actionable insights.
Data Engineers
- Coordinate data integration, migration, and transformation activities to support effective data operations.
IT Team
- Work closely to ensure seamless access to data infrastructure, resolve technical issues, and maintain security protocols.
Vendors
- Engage with external vendors, including Power BI support teams, for technical assistance, optimisation, and system enhancements.
Training Providers
- Coordinate with external training partners for professional development, certifications, and upskilling in relevant tools and technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
- Ability to analyse challenges logically and develop effective, data-driven solutions.
- Willingness to embrace change, learn new technologies, and adopt improved processes.
- Strong team player with the ability to build positive working relationships across departments.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively through written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in developing impactful dashboards, reports, data models, and visualisations using DAX and Power BI best practices.
- Ability to transform business requirements into meaningful business intelligence solutions.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret large and complex datasets.
- Ability to convert data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS, for data storage, processing, and analytics solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Power Automate to streamline workflows and automate repetitive tasks.
- Exposure to data science techniques such as regression, clustering, forecasting, and predictive analytics to support advanced insights.
Skills Required
