Position Overview: Care.com is seeking a Data Analyst (6-Month Contractor) to support our Operations team by analyzing and interpreting Net Promoter Score (NPS) and Trust & Safety data. This role requires a highly motivated, self-starting analyst with a strong background in SQL and data visualization tools, preferably Tableau. Experience with Snowflake is a plus. The ideal candidate will be passionate about using data to drive operational improvements and enhance customer trust and satisfaction.

Hourly Compensation: $35 - $50

What You’ll Do:

• Analyze NPS and Trust & Safety data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improving customer experience and operational processes.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track key metrics, ensuring stakeholders have clear visibility into performance trends.
• Develop and execute SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets across multiple sources.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to cross-functional teams, including Operations, Trust & Safety, and Product, to optimize business processes and enhance user trust.
• Work independently to identify and solve business problems using data analytics.
• Communicate findings through compelling data storytelling, making insights accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Who You Are:

• 2+ years of experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role, with a focus on operational data analysis.
• Strong SQL skills, with experience querying and transforming large datasets.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Domo.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and take initiative in solving complex data challenges.
• Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and data accuracy.
• Experience analyzing customer satisfaction metrics (e.g., NPS) and/or Trust & Safety data is a plus.
• Experience with Snowflake is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
