Blooms MFB is hiring a Data Analyst to turn data into actionable insights that support business growth, risk control, and customer satisfaction. This role will support decision-making, improve internal processes, and promote financial inclusion through data.
Responsibilities:
Collect, clean, and manage data from banking systems and digital platforms
Analyze customer behavior, loan performance, deposits, and risk trends
Build and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards
Provide insights to support credit, product, and marketing decisions
Monitor KPIs and recommend process improvements
Generate reports for regulators (CBN, NDIC) and support audits
Use tools like Excel, SQL, Power BI, and preferably Python or R for analysis
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
3+ years in a data analytics role (preferably in financial services or fintech)
Strong skills in Excel, SQL, and Power BI or Tableau
Experience with financial data (loans, deposits, transactions)
Strong analytical and communication skills
Knowledge of microfinance operations and regulation
Familiarity with core banking systems and mobile money
Python experience is an added advantage
