As a Data Analyst, you’ll partner closely with Sales & Marketing, Product, and other Business teams to turn data into actionable insights. You’ll also play a key role in ensuring our tracking is correct and trustworthy across web and app.

  • Analysis: Python (Jupyter notebooks)
  • Tracking: Google Analytics 4
  • Dashboards: Power BI, Looker Studio

Responsibilities:

  • Own regular business performance reporting (daily/weekly/monthly) and help teams understand what’s driving changes.
  • Write high-quality BigQuery SQL to extract, transform, and analyze data for reporting and deep-dive investigations.
  • Build and maintain reusable data models in dbt to support consistent definitions and scalable analytics.
  • Analyze customer behavior and cohorts across acquisition, engagement, retention, and growth.
  • Detect anomalies and risks in KPIs; investigate root causes and recommend next actions.
  • Conduct event tracking QA: Understand tracking plans/specs (web and app); Validate implementations and data quality; Work with engineers to troubleshoot and close gaps.
  • Communicate insights clearly through narrative, visuals, and stakeholder-ready materials.
  • Support dashboarding needs (Power BI / Looker Studio) when needed.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years in analytics / BI (flexible based on strength).
  • Strong SQL (BigQuery) and Python for analysis in notebooks.
  • Working experience with dbt and data modeling for reusable datasets.
  • Strong understanding of GA4 and event tracking concepts (events, parameters, attribution basics, common pitfalls).
  • You test your own work: validate queries, sanity-check outputs, and ensure reproducibility.
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills; able to translate analysis into decisions.
  • Strong English communication (spoken and written). Cantonese is a plus.

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with marketing/ad performance data and campaign measurement.
  • Experience working with Airflow DAG.
  • Familiarity with Data Governance.
  • Familiarity with experimentation measurement and product analytics.
  • Experience supporting or building dashboards in Power BI / Looker Studio.
  • Effective use of AI tools/coding agents to increase productivity while maintaining analytical rigor.
