We are looking for a university student interested in data analytics and automation to support analytical work in the Data Management team.
The role involves working with business datasets and helping develop analytics solutions that support operational and business decision-making.
As a trainee, you will work 20 hours per week while continuing your studies, with a flexible schedules that aligns with you academic commitments.
In addition to receiving support from your team and senior colleagues, you will also be part of a trainee community in Ostrava, where students support each other, share experiences, and build valuable connections in an international work environment.
We are looking for a trainee who can commit until June 2028.
You will be located in Ostrava, Czechia and report to Experienced Project and Team Manager.
What you will do
Prepare and transform datasets used for analytics
Support development of data models and analytical datasets
Assist in analysing historical company data and market data
Help automate analytics and reporting processes
Support analytics use cases such as forecasting or anomaly detection
Assist with documentation of analytical datasets and processes
What you will learn
Data modelling and preparation for analytics
Practical use of Python and SQL for data analysis
Working with enterprise business datasets
Automation of analytics workflows
How analytics supports business decision-making
Currently studying Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business Analytics or similar
Interest in data analytics, automation or data engineering
Basic knowledge of Python or SQL
Analytical mindset and curiosity about data
English proficiency at B2 level
Python

Hands-on experience with business analytics and automation
