Role: Data Analyst

In this role you will contribute in the Global Data Analytics COE's projects by actively partnering with Business Relationship Managers, Data Engineers, Leaders and business collaborators on large scale projects widely into custom made analysis & business insights, dashboards & reports, data implementations & visualizations. We are looking for a highly motivated Data Analyst who will collaborate with distributed team and provide meaningful contribution to the Data Analytics COE team.
What will you be doing?
- Design, develop, and deploy high fidelity operational (awareness of what's happening now), strategic (supervise key performance indicators) and analytical (process data to identify trends, forecasts, and insights) reports and dashboards. The implementation process shall follow industry standards and practices to ensure the security of information and user access points when deploying Business Analytical solutions.)
- Support & maintain the analytics user experience, adoption and release management cycle of dashboard/report content, administration, and user maintenance. Ensuring all procedural documentation is up to date.)
- Use standard customer engagement methods & tools for guided analytics, online training, and informative materials for the transfer/sharing of knowledge and mentor end-users.)
- Work with Data Engineers to drive automation, process improvements and resource efficiency. Analyse and propose solutions to complex problems applying business and technical knowledge).
What will you need to be successful?
- Graduate with Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of extensive Power BI standard & custom visual development, design, wireframing, storyboarding / storytelling experience with strong SQL knowledge required.
- Experience with SLDC or Agile Methodology using Azure DevOps or JIRA.
- Experience with Alteryx designer, Azure, Snowflake Cloud database, Azure DevOps or equivalent ETL and data science application good to have.
- Proficiency with SQL, Microsoft Office tools including significant capabilities with PowerApps, Excel and MS Power-Point.
- Experience with data modelling, and schemas like normalized, flat, star, etc is preferred.
- Must have a high level of digital literacy with desktop and cloud-based efficiency software such as Office365, Microsoft Office desktop applications, Microsoft Teams etc.
- Expert in selecting the right dashboard design and deployment method for business requirements.
- Certification in Power BI Desktop is highly desirable.
- Integrity with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices. Effective communication skills and succinct articulation. Hands on, able to work individually and also with team members.
