As a Data Analyst in the Analytics team, you’ll play a dedicated role supporting a live strategic transaction workstream, producing investor-grade analytics and data outputs that inform decision-making throughout the process.
In this role, you’ll:
• Restructure, normalise, and repackage historical and current data sets to investor-grade presentation standards, ensuring outputs are clearly reconciled and defensible under external scrutiny.
• Respond to ad-hoc data pull and analysis requests from internal leadership, financial advisors, and legal counsel, often under tight turnaround times.
• Support the preparation of management presentations, data rooms, and information memoranda, translating complex commercial data into clear, credible, stakeholder-ready outputs.
• Build and maintain analytical models and reconciliation tools to support financial modelling, scenario analysis, and due diligence workstreams.
• Ensure data consistency, auditability, and version control across all transaction-related outputs, acting as a quality gate for buyer-facing materials.
• Collaborate with the wider analytics function to cross-reference outputs and maintain alignment with BAU reporting, minimising the risk of inconsistencies across the business.
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has financial modelling and/or accounting experience, and is confident structuring, interrogating, and reconciling financial data (essential)
• Has experience working with BI and visualisation tools such as ThoughtSpot, Tableau, or PowerBI (essential)
• Has hands-on experience with Salesforce, including extracting, manipulating, and reconciling CRM data (essential)
• Has at least intermediate SQL knowledge, comfortable writing queries to pull and transform data independently (essential)
• Is confident producing investor-grade, stakeholder-facing outputs with a high bar for attention to detail and data integrity (essential)
• Communicates clearly with senior stakeholders, external advisors, and non-technical audiences, and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, iterative environment (essential)
• Has prior experience supporting M&A or due diligence processes (desirable)
