🚀 Data Analyst – 100% Remote (LATAM)

🧩 About the Opportunity
We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join a dynamic and established team. This role is crucial for creating new data models and maintaining existing ones within a sophisticated Human Resources Data Mart (HRDM).
You will play a vital role in enhancing a centralized and standardized data source that serves as the single source of truth for all employee and candidate data. Your work will directly empower strategic decisions by providing accurate historical and current HR metric reporting, impacting the entire organization's analytical capabilities.
💻 What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data models for the Human Resources Data Mart (HRDM).
- Write, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries, particularly within Snowflake, to extract and manipulate data.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts to extract data from various APIs and perform complex transformations using Pandas or PySpark.
- Collaborate on the deployment and management of data infrastructure on cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
- Utilize version control systems like GitLab to manage code and collaborate effectively.
- Work closely with a cross-functional team of technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data quality, governance, and privacy standards.
🛠️ Tech Stack & Skills
- 5+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries, particularly using Snowflake.
- 5+ years of experience with Python for data extraction (APIs) and transformation (Pandas, PySpark).
- Proven experience in modeling Data Warehouses.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), with a strong preference for AWS experience.
- Proficiency in version control systems such as GitLab.
- Bonus: Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow).
- Bonus: Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Bonus: Experience with data transformation tools like dbt (Data Build Tool).
- Bonus: Knowledge of CI/CD practices for data pipelines and infrastructure projects.
- Bonus: Experience with Data Governance and Data Privacy principles.
