The Data Analyst converts complex healthcare and risk adjustment data into clear, accurate, and actionable insights. Through reports, dashboards, and analytical models, this role directly supports financial performance, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence for both clients and internal teams.
In this role, the Data Analyst ensures the highest levels of data accuracy and integrity, translating client requirements into scalable reporting solutions and automated delivery processes. The analyst partners closely with client management, product teams, and engineering to enhance platform performance and support long-term organizational growth.
The team plays a critical part in driving value across the organization by delivering advanced analyses and custom reporting. They also produce monthly internal dashboards for Medicare, Medicaid, and ACA Commercial lines of business-adding meaningful consultative insights that elevate the company's value to clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
This position functions as a subject matter expert across three key domains:
  • Data Engineering & Analytics
    • Expertise in business intelligence, databases, ETL processes, data pipelines, SQL, Python, and analytical best practices to ensure reliable and scalable data solutions
  • Healthcare Risk Adjustment & Health Plan Data
    • Deep understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and ACA Commercial risk adjustment programs to ensure accurate interpretation, reporting, and application of industry-specific data
  • Application-Level Analysis & Troubleshooting
    • Ability to identify root causes of system, data, and workflow issues; recommend corrective actions; and collaborate with technical teams to ensure timely resolution
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Clinical Data Analyst, or Healthcare Analyst
  • Advanced knowledge on Tableau and Power BI
  • Advanced to expert proficiency in SQL
  • Advanced to expert proficiency in Python
  • Proven solid mastery of Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills
