Job Description

• Job Title: Cost Analysis & Optimization Specialist
• Location: Fontana, Chino, or City of Industry, California
• Annual Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 USD + Annual Performance Bonus

What You'll Do:

• Business & Cost Analysis
  Analyze and monitor business performance and cost data, establish cost analysis mechanisms, identify key cost drivers, abnormal fluctuations, and cost improvement opportunities, and provide data-driven insights to support business decision-making.
• Cost Data Management & Governance
  Improve cost data definitions, collection, allocation, and accounting processes to enhance data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure costs are recorded accurately and on time, minimizing timing differences, accounting errors, and historical discrepancies.
• Cost Analysis for Key Business Areas
  Conduct in-depth analysis of key cost areas, including warehousing, transportation, procurement, leases, labor, and consumables. Combine data analysis with operational insights to identify cost issues, determine root causes, and develop actionable recommendations.
• Cost Optimization & Improvement Initiatives
  Develop targeted cost optimization plans based on identified cost issues. Define improvement objectives, implementation plans, responsibilities, and key milestones, and drive initiatives through execution and closure.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project Management
  Partner with Procurement, Network Planning, Operations, Finance, and other relevant teams to implement cost improvement initiatives. Coordinate cross-functional resources, resolve project issues, and continuously monitor project progress and results.
• Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement
  Establish mechanisms to track cost improvement initiatives and evaluate their results. Monitor cost savings and efficiency gains, conduct post-project reviews, document best practices and improvement methodologies, and drive continuous cost optimization across key business areas.

About You:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.
• Strong data analysis and business acumen, with the ability to identify business issues through data analysis and conduct root-cause analysis.
• Strong project management and cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to drive initiatives from analysis and planning through implementation and measurable results.
• Knowledge of logistics operating cost structures, particularly warehousing, transportation, procurement, labor, and lease-related costs, is preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools. Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools is a plus.
• Strong results orientation, problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and continuous improvement mindset.
