About the Role
Are you someone who lets AI do the heavy lifting and loves figuring out how to make that happen? We are looking for an Intern with an Agentic AI mindset and interest in the Data domain to join our team for approximate 6 months. In this role, you will work with us to help develop AI Agents alongside other colleagues in the Data team. You will learn how agentic systems can change how users interact with Data, and grow your skills alongside data analysts and software engineers in a fast-paced, fintech environment.
What You Will Do
- Support Agentic Workflows: Participate in the development of AI-powered automations that streamline internal engineering and operational processes — learning how these systems are designed and shipped end-to-end.
- Data Agent Development & Integration: Support other data team members to design and implement agentic workflows, focusing on connecting AI agents to critical internal data sources and APIs to enable data retrieval and processing for production use cases
- RAG Pipeline Management: Support the full lifecycle of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) knowledge bases, including data ingestion, vectorization, and maintenance of relevant internal data (such as Notion, JIRA, and Slack logs)
- Impact Quantification: Develop methods and dashboards to track and quantify the efficiency gains from deployed AI agents
- Prototyping: Build internal bots or proof-of-concepts that demonstrate the potential of agentic AI, with mentorship from the Data team.
What We Are Looking For
- Current student or recent graduate: Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Agentic AI Curiosity: You have been tinkering with tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Kiro, or similar AI-native development tools. You don't need to be an expert — but you should be excited about what these tools can do. You should aware how how such tools can have their capabilities expanded (e.g. through MCPs, Skills)
- The "100x" Mindset: You are obsessed with efficiency. You look at a 10-step manual process and immediately think about how to reduce it to one. You believe AI should be doing most of the repetitive work so humans can focus on what matters.
- Language Agnostic: You've tinkered with at least one backend language (e.g., Python, Go, TypeScript, Ruby) and are eager to learn whatever gets the job done.
- Tools: Familiarity with Git for version control.
- Mindset: A "can-do" attitude, a love for trying new AI tools the day they launch, a strong desire to learn, and the ability to communicate your ideas clearly.
- Bonus Points: Experience with workflow orchestration tools (n8n, LangChain, etc.), familiarity with LLM APIs, or an interest in Fintech, Crypto, or how money moves globally.
Skills Required
- Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
- Hands-on curiosity with agentic AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Kiro) and awareness of agent extension methods.
- Experience tinkering with at least one backend language (Python, Go, TypeScript, Ruby).
- Familiarity with Git for version control.
- Strong desire to learn, can-do attitude, and clear communication skills.
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools (n8n, LangChain).
- Familiarity with LLM APIs.
- Interest or experience in Fintech or Crypto.
