Your Team

The AI & Automation team is a newly established function within the Securities & Payments division.
The team’s purpose is to:
1) Deliver practical AI and automation solutions that reduce manual processing, improve efficiency, and mitigate operational risk
2) Uplift divisional capability in the responsible and effective use of AI tools.
At present, the team operates primarily within the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and the Power Platform, and works closely with Technology, Enterprise Architecture, and business teams across the division

Your responsibilities

  • Translate business problems into working prototypes and production-ready solutions

  • Develop & implement scalable AI and automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Azure AI services, and AWS (including Amazon Bedrock), integrating systems via APIs and scripting

  • Work across the end-to-end solution lifecycle (prototype → test → deploy → iterate)

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code (Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript)

  • Work with data across platforms such as SharePoint, Dataverse, Microsoft Fabric, and cloud data services

  • Develop lightweight dashboards or outputs (e.g. Power BI) to support solution adoption where required

  • Experiment with and apply emerging AI capabilities, including LLM-powered and GenAI solutions across platforms (e.g. Copilot, Azure AI, Amazon Bedrock)

  • Contribute ideas and continuously explore new approaches to applying AI and automation

  • Collaborate with Business and Technology teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards

Your experience and qualifications

Must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related discipline

  • Demonstrated ability to build solutions using code and/or low-code platforms

  • Experience with at least one of: 1)Python and/or 2)JavaScript/TypeScript

  • Working knowledge of APIs and system integration concepts

  • Experience working with data across platforms such as SharePoint, Dataverse, Microsoft Fabric, and/or cloud environments (Azure or AWS) to deliver practical solutions

  • Experience working with data and visualisation tools such as Power BI or similar

  • Awareness of data quality and structured data handling

  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and platforms

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills to communicate effectively and work collaboratively across business and technology teams

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across business and technology teams.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with both Microsoft and AWS ecosystems

  • Exposure to AI services (e.g. Azure AI, OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock)

  • Understanding of version control (e.g. Git) and structured development practices

  • Relevant certifications (e.g. PL-900, AZ-900, AWS Cloud Practitioner)
