WHO YOU ARE

You are a detail-oriented, process-driven data professional who takes pride in making sure information is accurate, complete, organized, and usable. You understand that clean data isn't simply an administrative task—it is the foundation that allows sales, operations, customer success, and analytics teams to make better decisions and work effectively.

You have hands-on experience working with Salesforce and large data sets, and you are comfortable managing the details that come with maintaining a high-volume CRM environment. Whether you are importing records, identifying duplicates, reconciling discrepancies, mapping fields, or investigating why two data sources don't align, you approach the work methodically and don't stop until you understand the issue.

You are highly proficient in Excel and comfortable using tools such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, text functions, and data-cleaning techniques to organize and analyze information. You understand how leads, accounts, contacts, and opportunities relate within a CRM and recognize the importance of maintaining consistent data standards across each.

You are also curious about technology and actively look for smarter ways to work. You are comfortable using AI and automation tools to improve data cleaning, matching, enrichment, and everyday productivity while understanding the importance of accuracy, validation, and responsible use of customer data.

Most importantly, you are someone who notices the details others miss. You are organized, reliable, and comfortable owning recurring processes independently. You enjoy solving data problems and creating order within complex information, and you understand that the quality of your work directly impacts teams across the organization.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a Data Administrator at FPG, you will own the health, accuracy, and completeness of client and customer data within our CRM.

You will serve as the front line of FPG's data quality, managing large hotel data files from multiple sources and ensuring Salesforce records remain clean, accurate, current, and properly structured. Every lead, account, contact, and opportunity entering the CRM will need to be appropriately vetted, deduplicated, mapped, and validated.

You will manage recurring client and partner data updates, reconcile incoming information against existing CRM records, and identify and resolve discrepancies before they impact downstream teams.

Your work will directly support FPG's sales, field operations, Customer Success, and analytics teams by ensuring they can rely on the underlying data they use to operate and make decisions.

You will also help FPG continuously improve how data is managed by identifying opportunities to use automation, AI, and emerging technology to make data processes faster, more scalable, and more accurate.

HOW YOU WILL DO IT
  • Continuously scrub, standardize, and deduplicate high-volume data files received from clients, partners, and internal teams.

  • Match and merge duplicate records across accounts, contacts, and leads using established matching rules and sound judgment for more complex cases.

  • Establish and maintain data quality standards, naming conventions, and validation rules in partnership with the CRM administration team.

  • Process recurring data file updates by mapping incoming files against existing CRM records.

  • Update hotel-level attributes such as brand, management company, room count, region, and status accurately and on schedule.

  • Reconcile discrepancies between source files and CRM data, investigating and escalating conflicts or anomalies when appropriate.

  • Prepare and execute imports of field and sales data into Salesforce as leads, accounts, contacts, and opportunities.

  • Perform pre-load data hygiene and duplicate checks to prevent unnecessary or inaccurate record creation.

  • Use Salesforce Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, or comparable tools to execute inserts, updates, and upserts with appropriate field mapping and error handling.

  • Validate post-load results and identify and correct errors promptly.

  • Serve as a primary steward of customer, contact, account, and lead data across the CRM.

  • Monitor data quality, including completeness, accuracy, consistency, and duplication, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

  • Enrich records with missing or outdated information using approved data sources.

  • Document data management processes, mapping specifications, standards, and load procedures.

  • Use AI and automation tools to improve data cleaning, matching, enrichment, quality monitoring, and recurring workflows.

  • Evaluate new AI and automation capabilities and help identify practical opportunities to incorporate them into FPG's data management processes.

  • Partner with reporting and analytics teams to ensure underlying data is reliable, consistent, and appropriately structured.

REQUIREMENTS
  • 2+ years of experience in data administration, data management, CRM operations, or a similar data-focused role.

  • Hands-on Salesforce CRM experience, including experience performing data imports using Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, or comparable tools.

  • Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, text functions, and data-cleaning techniques.

  • Demonstrated experience working with large data sets and high-volume data files.

  • Proven experience with data hygiene, deduplication, record matching, and reconciliation.

  • Understanding of CRM data structures and the relationships between leads, accounts, contacts, and opportunities.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a highly methodical, process-driven approach to work.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate discrepancies and determine appropriate solutions.

  • Working knowledge of modern AI tools and demonstrated ability to use AI assistants or AI-enabled technology to improve data-related workflows and productivity.

  • Willingness and ability to learn and adopt new AI and automation technologies as FPG's systems and processes continue to evolve.

  • Experience within the hospitality or hotel industry, including familiarity with hotel brands, flags, management companies, and property-level data, preferred.

  • Experience with data quality or deduplication tools such as DemandTools, Cloudingo, or similar platforms preferred.

  • Experience with Salesforce Einstein, Agentforce, AI-assisted matching/enrichment tools, or other AI-powered data capabilities preferred.
