Job Title: DAP Senior Engineer, AVP

Location: Pune, India

Role Description

• Our goal is to build & offer simple self-service shared platforms for clients to consume and in turn run their own business applications on. We’ll use a combination of open source and vendor technologies coupled with Cloud native services where appropriate and use automation for efficiency and accuracy.
• This role for DAP Engineering, a fully manged environment that allows to deploy applications designed for weblogic, JBoss or Tomcat DAP ensures that the hardware, infrastructure solution and underlying technologies required to host your applications are managed for end users  allowing them  to concentrate solely on the applications and their development The platform  abstracts the complexities of deploying and promoting Java applications through multiple environments and automates the provisioning of application servers to support the Bank's recommended change controlled application deployment models.

Your key responsibilities

• Responsible for leading and supporting the Digital Adoption Platform engineering team
• Responsible for building shared solutions in collaboration with architects, product managers and other key stakeholder
• Responsible for building, configuring, and managing software on Cloud and/or on-prem for IaaS and PaaS solution
• Responsible for building, tuning, and performing operational efficiency on production grade systems
• Work in an Agile manner on the book of work. You will own the solution/design and implementation including test, document, and demo

Your skills and experience

• Strong experience and commitment to deliver in Agile process highlighting change while accelerating delivery
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Technical Skills including Perl – Scripting, Object-oriented, Linux system administration.
• Housekeeping/troubleshooting, SSH, RDBMS – SQL and Java – WebLogic, Boss and Tomcat
