Dangerous Goods Validation Team of experienced DG Coordinators take care of timely Validation of DG Booking Data, Communication with all relevant stakeholders and Consolidation of all Safety related DG information well before arrival of the vessel. Sophisticated Databases and our inhouse DG Catalogue, latest EDI standards and RPA solutions assist in this task.

The DG Validation Team is a key factor in ensuring Safety on board of the vessels. We are handling globally all the services around the world.

We are looking for Coordinator at Dangerous Goods Department, who will work with us in our Knowledge Center in Gdansk. You will be working side by side with experts in a modern office space – innovating and developing state-of-the-art technology solutions that will enable us to connect the world across the oceans even faster in the future. Fixed term - till 31.12.2027

Responsibilities
  • Processing of transport requests for dangerous goods pursuant to process standards
  • Approval of dangerous goods transports for intermodal transport
  • Correspondence with internal and external stakeholders
  • Registration of dangerous goods bookings for partner lines
  • Verification of compliance with transport regulations of dangerous goods
  • Loading/transit/purge clearance
  • Preparation of congestion/separation notes
  • Close cooperation with Regional DG Managers
Qualifications
  • Completed vocational training as shipping agent or practical experience in the transport of dangerous goods
  • Basic knowledge of IMDG codes and other dangerous goods regulations preferred
  • Responsible, detail-oriented and well-organised working method with the ability to work accurately even under time pressure
  • Team spirit and commitment
  • Motivated and quick learner
  • Good English skills
  • Open to work in shifts (6-14,14-22)
  • Good IT Skills (especially MS Outlook)
