Job DescriptionThis is a fantastic opportunity to join Rotork, a FTSE 250 organisation, in an exciting part of our global transformation. This role is responsible for supporting the APAC Programme Manager to deliver our D365 programme across the breadth of Order Processing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering and Production.
This is a fixed term contract until the end of 2027, based in Chennai, India. There will be occasional travel to our APAC sites to support them through change.
Reporting to the APAC Programme Manager, this role is responsible for supporting the successful transition from legacy system to D365 across Rotork’s factories & sales entities. As an SME in Operations and D365, you will be responsible for working with each Rotork site to validate the global solution fit and ensure they are aligned to global processes, data ready and trained to deploy the new system.
You will help us navigate our sites through the change, taking us on the journey from ‘as is’ – ‘to be’. You will support all aspects of system implementation including data migration, solution specification & testing, training and Go live support.
Qualifications
Experience Requirements
- D365 SME in an area of operations with previous deployment/user experience
- Experience working on a substantial change project or upgrade of D365 (ERP project or upgrade).
- Experience working in Operations management role
- Proficient level of knowledge and experience of key Operations processes
- Demonstrable track record, and sufficient gravitas and experience, to deliver positive, high impact business outcomes and change.
- Experience managing senior internal & external stakeholders to provide information, drive decisions and resolve issues.
The successful candidate
- Experience of D365 projects, upgrades and/or implementations
- Comfortable working in a high-pressure environment, in agile and dynamic way to tackle unexpected & emerging issues.
- Experience of driving continuous improvement
Skills Required
- Experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 subject matter expert in an operations area, including prior deployment or user experience
- Experience working on a substantial Dynamics 365 change project, ERP project, upgrade, or implementation
- Experience working in an operations management role
