Jockey is seeking a D365 Developer to join our IT team!
JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a talented D365 Developer to join our IT Team. This position will be located at our corporate headquarters in Kenosha, WI (between Chicago, IL and Milwaukee, WI area).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Participate in client functional and technical workshops, to analyses and design Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations technical solutions.
- Demonstrates strong coding skill, Designing and developing extensions/customizations using D365 F&O and its related technologies/tools.
- Reviews Functional design of given business requirements for technical solution and detailed technical design. Write technical specifications and collaborate with the functional team to ensure functional and technical requirements are understood and well defined.
- Produces high quality technical document as per set standards and templates.
- Engage in discussions with functional consultants for design clarifications.
- Customize and extend Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O. Writing custom code in X++, XML, C#, .NET, Visual Studio, SSRS reporting services, and SQL and delivers high quality code with defined quality standards, best practices, and guidelines with adherence to SDLC best Practices.
- Proficient in API, REST/ODATA and SOAP endpoints
- Dynamics 365 environment deployment, Implementations, and management utilizing Lifecycle Services and Azure DevOps. Monitoring application performance and optimizing for scalability, responsiveness, and reliability.
- Code release management, ensuring successful build and deployment to relevant environments with appropriate release notes.
- Performing maintenance tasks such as bug fixes, performance tuning, and software upgrades. Rais issues to Microsoft support as required. Providing technical support and troubleshooting for production issues related to assigned business applications,
- Created data entities and service methods for integration. Experience of Microsoft Common Data Service and the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Set up and maintain servers via Life Cycle Services (LCS).
- Perform updates per Microsoft’s recommended Life Cycle.
- Maintain and manage Azure DevOps pipeline for D365 F&O build and release automation.
- Troubleshoot builds and release pipeline issues and optimize performance.
- Monitor and maintain build agents, service connections, and YAML pipelines.
- Manage and coordinate builds, code merges and deployments access Development, UAT and PROD environment.
- Manage and maintain Azure resources (VMs, storage accounts, networking, security groups, subscriptions and resource groups) used for D365 F&O environments.
- Apply MS patches to all application servers periodically.
- Other job duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 5 years of AX/D365 development experience with deep knowledge of ERP, Power platform, web services, security, cloud, and infrastructure.
- At least 10 years of experience in Development/ Configuration/solutions evaluation/ Validation and deployment
- At least 5 years of experience in creating requirement specifications based on Architecture/Design/Detailing of Processes
- This role involves collaborating closely with IT teams, and external partners to ensure the successful delivery of D365 F&O solutions that align with business needs and technical requirements.
- This role also requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness.
