Seeking a D365 Applications Architect to support and evolve a highly customized Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment within a complex enterprise application ecosystem. This role is focused on implementation support, application expertise, integration architecture, and issue resolution rather than system configuration. The ideal candidate understands both the functional and technical aspects of Dynamics, can navigate end-to-end business processes, and has deep knowledge of how enterprise applications connect and interact. The architect will serve as a key technical leader, helping teams troubleshoot issues, analyze transaction flows, support ongoing enhancements, and drive solutions across multiple integrated systems.
Responsibilities:
- Provide architectural leadership and implementation support for a customized Dynamics 365 platform.
- Troubleshoot complex application, transaction, and integration issues across multiple business systems.
- Analyze end-to-end business processes and identify issues across Dynamics, APIs, middleware, and connected applications.
- Support development teams with technical guidance regarding platform enhancements and integrations.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to improve system effectiveness and operational efficiency.
- Investigate transaction failures, payloads, data flows, and system interactions to identify root causes.
- Design and support integrations between Dynamics and enterprise applications.
- Document solution architecture, data flows, and technical dependencies.
- Collaborate with support, development, and architecture teams to maintain platform stability and scalability.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Dynamics capabilities, customizations, and enterprise application interactions.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 architecture, development, or application support.
- Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 functionality, customization, and application architecture.
- Experience supporting complex enterprise implementations and integrated business environments.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise integrations, APIs, middleware, and distributed systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and trace transactions across multiple applications and integration points.
- Experience working with custom code and application extensions.
- Technical background working with Java, Spring Boot, or similar enterprise technologies.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and enterprise application ecosystems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
