Accountable for creating D2C reports and customer analysis based on the data available in the internal systems, developing and implementing market and consumer analysis and research projects.
Role owner must deliver valuable insights to prepare management decision making based on relevant, up to date data mining and analysis, creating a successful local D2C channel and Samsung brand and adhere to a continuous brand and sales development.

Role and Responsibilities

Key objectives

Through the delivery of relevant D2C channel, market and customer insights increase D2C sales channel performance and improve Samsung premium brand awareness and preference in Hungary. Serve as a guardian of Samsung D2C sales channel, supporting its efficiency by delivering proper reports and market insights, overlooking that each and every D2C campaign and promotion carried out serves the ultimate goal of Samsung’s D2C sales growth in the country.

Main responsibilities

  • Constantly checks and evaluates all D2C performance KPIs, creates meaningful reports and analysis that supports business decision making.
  • Based on available D2C data shares insights that increases the efficiency of all D2C activities.
  • Creates weekly, monthly and quarterly D2C sales, channel and marketing reports.
  • Summarizes the key insights, learnings and provides recommendations.
  • Constantly monitors the market trends, competitors and provides recommendations to the marketing and sales teams.
  • Initiates, plans and implements Market Intelligence strategy by defining objectives and analysis that solves arising problems; finds opportunities, monitors and evaluates engagements.
  • Develops ad hoc research reports together with agencies, extracts the conclusions, insights and offers, directions to management as well as communication experts.
  • Develops research and analysis briefs for agencies, supervises the implementation of Market Intelligence projects, keeps relationship with market research agencies and deploys the MI results.
  • Supports marketing team by creating competitive and other regular and ad-hoc analysis, actively participates in the BAS yearly brand evaluation by collaborating and aligning with Suwon office team.

Skills and Qualifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in data science or economics
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in data and/or marketing analytics, reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and in data visualization tools
  • Fluent in English and Hungarian (spoken and written)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Experience in market research is an advantage
