  • Développer, concevoir et mettre en œuvre des microservices et des outils afin d’offrir de nouvelles capacités à notre modèle LLM (ARIA)
  • Rencontrer les gestionnaires de développement pour discuter des projets logiciels
  • Mener des études de faisabilité pour des systèmes logiciels améliorés
  • Mettre à jour les systèmes logiciels existants et proposer des améliorations pour optimiser la fonctionnalité et l’efficacité
  • Concevoir de nouveaux programmes logiciels, sites Web et applications
  • Rédiger du code de programmation avancé
  • Effectuer des revues de code afin de maintenir des normes de qualité élevées et de promouvoir les meilleures pratiques
  • Gérer les échéanciers et les tâches des projets
  • Créer des documents techniques pour les nouveaux programmes logiciels
  • Participer aux réunions quotidiennes SCRUM
  • Collaborer avec l’équipe de recherche en IA pour recueillir des commentaires et intégrer les dernières découvertes et méthodologies

Ce dont vous aurez besoin pour réussir: 

  • Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en génie logiciel, en informatique ou expérience équivalente
  • Plus de 5 ans d’expérience dans un domaine connexe
  • Expérience avec Python
  • Expérience en tests unitaires; pytest
  • Connaissance approfondie de la programmation orientée objet
  • Expérience en débogage de microservices dans une infrastructure AWS (CloudWatch, rôles, etc.)
  • Familiarité avec l’architecture des LLM et les pratiques exemplaires
  • Connaissance de Linux essentielle, ainsi qu’une expérience en automatisation de tâches
  • Expérience avec les microservices et les services gérés AWS (Lambdas, files d’attente, API Gateway, etc.)
  • Utilisation de Git comme système de contrôle de versions
  • Connaissance des meilleures pratiques en développement logiciel
  • Excellentes habiletés en communication écrite et verbale
  • Solides compétences en communication pour favoriser une collaboration efficace entre les équipes

What you will do:    

  • Develop, design and implement micro-services and tools to provide new capabilities to our LLM (ARIA) model
  • Meeting with development managers to discuss software projects
  • Conducting feasibility studies for upgraded software systems
  • Update existing software systems and propose enhancements to improve functionality and efficiency.
  • Designing new software programs, websites, and applications
  • Writing advanced programming code
  • Conduct code reviews to uphold high-quality coding standards and promote best practices.
  • Managing project timelines and tasks
  • Creating technical documents for new software programs
  • Participate in daily SCRUM meetings
  • Collaborate with the AI Research team to gather feedback and integrate the latest findings and methodologies.
  • Document development processes, share insights, and maintain organized documentation for knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Help supervise the deployment of components built by our team.
  • Develop, upgrade, and maintain existing services and code
  • Responding to troubleshooting / maintenance tickets

What you will need to be successful

  • Bachelor’s or master's degree in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in related field
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with unit testing; pytest
  • Extensive knowledge in Object Oriented programming
  • Experience in debugging micro-services in an AWS infrastructure (CloudWatch, Roles, …)
  • Familiar with LLM architecture and best practices.
  • Knowledge in Linux is a must and experience with automating tasks 
  • Experience with microservices and AWS managed services (Lambdas, Queues, API Gateway…)
  • Using Git as a version-control system
  • Knowledge in best practice for software development
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Strong communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration across teams.
  • Innovative thinker, able to enhance all the algorithms based on business needs and requirements.

Language Requirements
French-English bilingualism is required.
In addition to fluency in French, successful candidates must have full professional proficiency in English in order to support and collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues and/or various stakeholders.

Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:

$86,300.00 - $123,024.99
