Job Title: Senior .NET Software Engineer (Mortgage Tech Specialist)
Experience Level: 9+ Years
Location: Kochi
Technical Stack: .NET 8/Core, Microservices, Azure/AWS, SQL Server, Angular/React
Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned .NET Developer with a deep footprint in the Mortgage or Fintech industry to lead the evolution of our lending platforms. You will be responsible for architecting and maintaining high-concurrency systems that handle everything from loan application intake to secondary market delivery. The ideal candidate understands that in mortgage tech, a bug isn't just a technical error—it’s a compliance risk.
Key Responsibilities
• Architectural Leadership: Design and scale robust back-end services using .NET Core/6/8 and Microservices architecture.
• Domain Integration: Integrate with third-party mortgage services (Credit reporting, AUS, Title, Appraisal, and DocuSign).
• Data Integrity & Security: Ensure PII (Personally Identifiable Information) is handled with the highest security standards and that complex financial calculations (Amortization, DTI, LTV) are 100% accurate.
• Modernization: Lead the migration of legacy monolithic mortgage systems into cloud-native (Azure/AWS) environments.
• Mentorship: Act as a technical pillar for the team, performing rigorous code reviews and establishing best practices for CI/CD and unit testing.
Technical Requirements
• The Core: 9+ years of professional experience with the C# / .NET ecosystem.
• Web Services: Expert-level knowledge of Web API, RESTful services, and GraphQL.
• Database Mastery: Advanced SQL Server skills (complex stored procedures, performance tuning) and experience with NoSQL (CosmosDB/MongoDB).
• Cloud: Proven experience with Azure (App Services, Functions, Service Bus) or AWS (Lambda, SQS, EC2).
• Frontend: Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue).
Mortgage-Specific Qualifications (The "Must-Haves")
• Direct experience with Loan Origination Systems (LOS) like Encompass (ICE), Empower, or proprietary lending platforms.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as MISMO (Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization) XML.
• Deep understanding of the mortgage lifecycle: Point of Sale (POS) → Processing → Underwriting → Closing → Secondary Marketing.
Communication: Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders (Underwriters, Loan Officers).
