What can Mizuho/Greenhill offer you?
Early responsibility
You’ll work on small project teams on a range of different projects which give you responsibility and the opportunity to start to develop an Analyst skill-set.
Exposure
Working within the advisory teams, you will conduct in-depth research on a range of companies, perform detailed financial and valuation analysis, prepare client presentations and assist in client meetings from early on. The Intern role offers you exposure to high profile deals as well as senior members of the team.
Training
The work is fast-paced and demanding but you will receive excellent on-the-job training from our Analysts and Associates, ranging from financial modelling techniques to the legal and regulatory considerations involved in M&A transactions.
Program
The internship program will start in early January 2026 and run through July 2026. At the end of the internship program, successful candidates might be considered for a permanent position in the firm.
Job Description
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
- Modelling and valuation: build and update valuation models and business plans for corporate finance and restructuring transactions (including DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions, etc).
- Preparation of marketing documents
- Preparation of client presentations, pitch books, information memorandums and data rooms
- Internet and database research on various sectors and prospects
- Preparation of financial analysis and business planning
What are we looking for?
- Individuals in the final year of their bachelor’s or master’s degree with a clear motivation to develop a career in investment banking
- A strong work ethic and the ability to perform well under pressure
- Strong numerical ability and logical reasoning
- Outstanding academic record
- A keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex ideas clearly
- Demonstrable commercial skills
- A fluent level of Spanish and English. Additional languages are a plus
- An advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Prior investment banking experience preferred
