- This is an on-site position. Requiring at least 5 days in office, based out of our Arlington, VA location.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead RMF efforts across all six RMF steps including Categorization, Control Selection, Control Implementation, Assessment, Authorization, and Continuous Monitoring.
- Develop and maintain RMF artifacts including SSPs, SARs, SAPs, POA&Ms, inventories, architecture diagrams, and continuous monitoring documentation.
- Coordinate directly with U.S. Navy Authorizing Officials (AOs), Security Control Assessors (SCAs), ISSMs, ISSOs, and Program Managers. Performing regular server updates, patch management, and software installations.
- Manage cybersecurity authorization packages and support ATO, IATT, and IATO activities.
- Performing ACAS Scans on various devices across multiple systems
- Collecting, reviewing, and submitting various STIG checklists for RMF processes
- Developing and maintaining access control policies for various organization assets
- Remediating Vulnerabilities and documenting POAMs as required.
- Implement, maintain, and review security processes to maintain compliance and ensure user permissions are accordingly
- Help develop and maintain various golden images in support of business area activities to include operating system images and virtual machines.
- Creating and maintaining detailed documentation of systems and networks for usage by both technical and non-technical stake holders
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent full-time professional experience.
- 5+ years of full-time professional experience in systems administration or system Experience with NIST 800-53 and other relevant security controls
- Experience with developing and remediating POAMs for relevant stakeholders
- Experience working in a VMWare Environment or similar virtualization platform.
- Experience using Tenable Security Center/Nessus Scanning tools
- Experience with Trellix or other antivirus/endpoint solutions
- Experience with Bash, Python, or other scripting languages
- Understanding of common TCP/IP concepts to include TCP, UDP, VLANs, DHCP, and routing at a minimum
- Experience Provisioning and Installing both Physical and Virtual Machines for organization needs
- Security+, CCNA, or equivalent IAT Level II certification
- Experience with hardening devices and updating DISA STIG Checklists
- Experience with patching and remediating vulnerabilities in a closed network
- Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time needed.
- Strong Understanding of Red Hat or similar Linux distributions.
- Experience working with networking within a tactical system
- Experience with the United States Navy Risk Management Framework Process
- Experience with Cross Domain Solutions
- Experience with configuring multiple forms of authentication to include PKI concepts.
- Experience with having to identify hardware and/or software for purchase to meet various use-cases.
- Experience with Ansible, PowerShell, Chef, Salt, Puppet, or any other configuration automation software.
