The Global Security Services (GSS) Cybersecurity organization is seeking a Regional Training Lead to support our team 100% onsite at our facility in El Segundo, California.

We are seeking a self-motivated and proactive Regional Training Lead to be a member of a high-performing team of cybersecurity professionals focused on delivering innovative training solutions, developing robust curriculum, and facilitating expert-led learning programs. This strategic role is critical in fostering a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and technical excellence across the GSS Cybersecurity organization.

As a Regional Training Lead, you will be responsible for assisting the Training and Talent Development Team Lead with driving the design and execution of talent development initiatives that equip our cybersecurity workforce with the knowledge, skills, and capabilities required to meet evolving security challenges. You will also assist the Training and Talent Development Team Lead in aligning training strategies with organizational goals, strengthening our talent pipeline, and enabling both individual and organizational success.

What You Will Do

  • Support strategic initiatives and demonstrate a commitment to a high-performance culture centered on collaboration, innovation, and results.

  • Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the GSS Cybersecurity Raytheon Training and Talent Development Strategy, helping to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Assist with the evaluation and enhancement of training effectiveness through data-driven assessments. Recommend and help implement improvements to meet evolving business and cybersecurity needs.

  • Assist with the development, analysis, and delivery of comprehensive training metrics, reports, and briefings to cyber professional managers and key stakeholders within the designated region across the organization.

  • Schedule orientations and lead On-the-Job Training (OJT) programs, and host train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts.

  • Coordinate the logistics of a new hire’s first two weeks after hire, then monitor and track training progression.

  • Assist the manager in driving the continued integration of automation and scalable solutions to improve the efficiency and reach of training programs across the business.

  • Assist with the execution of Workday Cybersecurity training initiatives, for GSS Cyber specific curriculum.

  • Assist with the strategic planning and execution of early talent pipeline programs, including internships, apprenticeships, and rotational initiatives.

  • Periodic travel to support program delivery, stakeholder engagement, and cross-site collaboration.

  • Engage in initiatives with external entities to support GSS Cybersecurity interests.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience

  • Relevant Experience Considered:

    • Cybersecurity, systems security or hardening

    • Information Technology

    • Experience working with and/or supporting computer technologies (such as: databases, operating systems, computer network hardware, software programs, hardware troubleshooting or electronics)

    • Physical security/security, policework/criminal justice, investigations, or Border Patrol

    • Project or program management, office management, senior administration, or account management

    • Corporate training, learning and development, education, or instructional design

    • Leading training sessions, workshops, or onboarding programs

    • Performance coaching or talent development initiatives

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Proven experience working with a team driving operational excellence in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment

  • Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, RMF, NICE Framework) and how they align with workforce development and compliance training.

  • Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF), National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG), Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM), and other related DoD Manuals

  • Ability to analyze training effectiveness, track metrics, and report on outcomes

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to brief executive leadership and external customers.

  • Ability to thrive in a matrixed or global organization, balancing agility with governance in talent development.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively

  • Ability to align talent development initiatives with business goals and workforce planning needs.

  • Proven experience developing, implementing, and scaling cybersecurity training programs in highly regulated or classified settings (e.g., defense, government, aerospace).

  • Experience with talent pipeline development (internships, apprenticeships, early career programs), particularly in STEM or cyber disciplines.

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment, with demanding deadlines while ensuring internal/external customer needs are met

  • Experience working within a matrixed atmosphere with geographically dispersed teams

The salary range for this role is 118,300 USD - 224,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
