Credence has an immediate opening for an experienced Cybersecurity Liaison who will be primarily responsible for supporting Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC)/LP at Tinker Air Force Base, OK.
The AFLCMC Propulsion Directorate, AFLCMC/LP, has the collective Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) mission responsibility for developing, acquiring, testing, fielding, sustaining and modernizing leading edge propulsion systems through the life cycle management for the United States (US) war-fighter and international partners. In order to meet current and projected workload requirements in support of propulsion, the Government must augment its organic (military and civil service) capabilities at AFLCMC/LP with Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) support.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below
- Accomplish Information Assurance (IA) tasks to support AFLCMC/LPA.
- Responsible to division leadership and to directorate Information Assurance Officer (IAO) management to support timely and efficient IA operations.
- Interface routinely with individuals and organizations, including but not limited to:
- Front office staff and supervisors;
- Directorate IAO personnel;
- Base communications group focal points;
- Zone Computer Support Technicians (CST);
- IAO Express Help Desk personnel, and;
- Equipment custodians.
- Develop, implement, oversee, and maintain the cybersecurity program that identifies requirements, personnel, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure appropriate operational cybersecurity posture is maintained for all DoD information systems and equipment used within the division.
- Interface with supervisors, front office staff, and security manager to in-process and out-process users, verify completion of annual cybersecurity training, and manage IA documents in division electronic files.
- Ensure that all users have requisite security clearance, need-to-know authorization, and that users comply with cybersecurity procedures set forth in Air Force Systems Security Instruction (AFSSI) 8522.
- Ensure that IT is operated, used, maintained, and disposed of properly IAW IT security documentation as prescribed by AFI 17-101 Air Force Risk Management Framework (RMF) Program.
- Assist directorate IAO management in meeting their duties and responsibilities by ensuring AFLCMC/LP accomplishes required reporting, assessments, and inspections.
- Attend base Cyber Security Liaison (CSL), IA, and IT meetings and training.
- Brief users on computer support resources and cybersecurity Incident Response Plans (IRPs) on a semi-annual basis.
- Conduct regular IRP drills and evaluate and report results.
- Act as IT liaison between division users and client service center and CSTs to resolve computer issues.
- Open IT support tickets using the Remedy system, interface with CSTs, and follow up on problems until they reach full resolution.
- In-process employees into the division.
- Use the IAO Express Tool for individuals arriving from outside of AFLCMC and shall follow up on any problems to alleviate delays.
- Assist with DD 2875 and AF 4394 processing and shall input spreadsheet tracker information.
- Add new employees to distribution and security lists as appropriate using IAO Express Tool.
- Coordinate with equipment custodians and the front office to assist new employees with technology.
- Out-process departing employees to include removing forms, deleting spreadsheet information, deleting from distribution lists, de-provisioning and coordinating with necessary personnel as needed.
- Assist employees with Common Access Card (CAC) problems and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificate issues.
- Assist employees with drive access to include shared drive creation, mapping, and access.
- Assist with Contract Writing System (ConWrite) application interfacing.
- Open tickets in the Remedy system to acquire computer technical support, gather technical information from users, and contact network support as necessary to follow up on Remedy tickets.
- Follow up as needed with base communications group focal points and CSTs to solve technical networking issues to enable efficient network access for users and to expedite assistance.
- Assist with deployment of Government-provided iPhones for approved personnel.
- Track paperwork, certificates, and training for Government-provided iPhone users.
- Manage facsimile (FAX) machine and Multi-Function Device (MFD) security features.
- Ensure Computer Security (COMPUSEC) procedures are followed with printers, FAX machines and devices with scanning capabilities.
- Support data calls, maintain the MS SharePoint site, and maintain all printers, MFDs, and FAX machines.
- Assist employees with MS Outlook issues, to include providing assistance with printer setup, and electronic mail issues arising from PKI certificate problems and assisting front office group assistants with organizational mailbox decryption certificate issues and with IA problems and computing issues.
- Determine what IA-related communications should be passed on to the division. When information needs to be disseminated, the Contractor shall create IA communiques regarding computer support and information issues, and shall inform and train personnel on IRPs.
- Enforce IA regulations including Universal Serial Bus (USB) device prohibitions, device management, and software deployments.
- Maintain the AFLCMC/LP IA Program SharePoint Site.
- Prepare for and facilitate annual Operations Security (OPSEC), COMPUSEC, and/or Communications Security (COMSEC) inspections and assessments.
- Support organizational IA processes including but not limited to:
- Annual cybersecurity training issues and lockouts;
- Telecommunications Monitoring and Assessment Program (TMAP);
- Newcomer orientations by providing IT briefings;
- Classified message incident management (with the directorate IAO), and;
- Firewall exemption management.
Requirements
- Active Secret clearance
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in a related field and 10+ years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD; or
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 12+ years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD; or
- 15+ years of directly related experience, including 8+ years in the DoD, with the proper certifications described in the PWS labor category performance requirements
- CompTIA Security+ certification
- Ability to complete an information system security manager certification within six months of start date
- Experience working with directorate Information Assurance Officer personnel
- Eligibility to work in the United States
