Senior Network Development Specialist

Position Purpose: This role is working on Ambetter/ Marketplace product with a focus on network and product strategy. The Senior Network Development Specialist will work with health plans, negotiators, and providers. The Specialist will use their ability to build and manage business relationships, work with provider networks, and develop healthcare strategy to meet department objectives and growth initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage network development plans to achieve Centene's growth objectives
Analyze metrics and report on trends in provider reimbursement changes
Identify and implement strategies for network utilization improvement, reducing network spend
Remain apprised of regulatory changes, perform gap assessment, and lead efforts to implement new processes
Lead process improvement initiatives for the provider experience
Partner with Claims, Business Operations, Medical Management, and other areas to address ongoing needs and develop solutions
Assist in development and implementation of quality improvement programs
Understand various product lines to optimize Centene's Commercial business
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. 4+ years of project management, provider relations, or provider contract negotiation experience, preferably in the healthcare industry. Experience interfacing with healthcare providers preferred. Master's degree preferred.
