Senior Desktop Support Specialist
Description
The Citizens Bank Technology Service team is seeking to add a seasoned Desktop Support Engineer to support our Capital and Global Markets trading environment.
This high impact role enables the business to achieve outcomes in line with the bank's key strategic priorities. Role Responsibilities:
• Provide on-site day to day desktop support for a trading floor environment and business ccolleagues
• Follow ticket management best practices to track and log all work performed
• Identify potential areas for improvement of support processes, procedures or technology configuration and share with deskside management
• Adhere to the system standards, policies, procedures and documentation to ensure consistency of support
• Perform other assigned / related duties as needed and assist in project planning and delivery activities as required
Qualifications
- 5+ years of knowledge and troubleshooting experience with trading applications such as Bloomberg and various proprietary liquidity platforms
- Experience providing IT desktop trade floor support in a large, corporate financial services environment
- Driven, with a colleague focused "service first " mentality
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate to both technical and non-technical colleagues with ease
- Possess a rock solid "calm under pressure" attitude and demeanor; good sense of urgency
- In depth knowledge of Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, Mobile 365, Active Directory, Citrix, PC Hardware, Multiple monitor setups, Printers, Bloomberg keyboards and virtual compute environments
- Exceptional time management, prioritization and organizational skills
- Able to work with minimal supervision, take direction without follow-up, take initiative without being asked and collaborate closely with others across the organization to achieve desired outcomes
- Familiarity with Cisco Phone, Cisco Spark and Turret technologies
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting (problem determination/resolution) skills
- Understanding of network protocols and infrastructure concepts
Preferred:
- Experience with FX Alliance, 360T, Integral and other Electronic Communication Networks a plus
- Experience supporting Wall Street Systems and Calypso trading platforms a plus
- Strong ticket management skills and discipline

Work Schedule: Business Hours but available off hours if needed
