Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking for a Project Information Specialist for our Coral Gables, FL/ Charlotte, NC/ Atlanta, GA/ Arlington VA office.

This position is expected to begin in March, 2022.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • In this role, you will be responsible for data administration for several projects. This may call for
  • Creating and maintaining a Data Model / Warehouse
  • Reading e-Builder data via the API
  • Pulling data from Access, PeopleSoft, and other applications
  • Using P6 EPPM Reporting and Oracle Business Intelligence to develop reports
  • Experience in Excel, Access, SQL, and reporting tools like PowerBI, Quick Site, Tableau is needed to create reports/dashboards and support data analysis.
  • Analyze client business processes/requirements and develop corresponding process and data flows within the applicable PMIS.
  • Configure the PMIS application(s) based on requirements and business rules for new/existing implementations
  • Provide recommendations for process improvement and/or streamlining
  • Coordinate integration between project management and controls systems.
  • Development of all reports set forth in the business requirements.
  • Ensure that all project and program processes are in accordance with set Project Procedures and Job Instructions. Includes configuration of e-Builder, P6 EPPM, cost reports, cash flow, and variance analysis.
  • Review and provide feedback on miscellaneous project reports.
  • Attend team meetings to provide assistance in resolving issues, review progress reports and ensure assignment of new tasks.
  • Create and distribute meeting minutes, status reports, and required documentation
  • Provide recommendations and guidance to other groups with regards to processes, monitoring, and system requirements.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with six (6) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six (6) years of relevant experience working in systems integration, management information systems (or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.)
  • Database management and Analytics
  • Knowledge of SQL, Visual Basic, and Data Visualization Tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • API for eBuilder, P6 EPPM, and OBIee
  • PMIS: e-Builder, P6 EPPM, Procure, Unifier, InEight
  • Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Visio.)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technologies, Business Analytics or relevant experience
  • Program skills
  • General understanding of financial reporting
  • Ability to effectively present and communicate information to customers, strategic business partners, and company management
  • History of recommending and implementing process improvements
