Job Purpose:
The Services Distribution & Digital (SD&D) GCIO IT organization currently has an opening for an IT Engagement Management Liaison, partnering with the Cat Digital Platform organization. This group is responsible for helping SD&D business units deliver on their strategic commitments and end-customer goals. As part of this organization, the selected candidate will have an opportunity to work directly with global business partners supporting Caterpillar aftermarket and services lines of business. As a Liaison, the individual selected will instill a good customer experience, bringing efficiencies to execute tasks in an accelerated, cost effective and quality manner.
Description:
- IT Liaison for the Cat Digital Platform organization
- Demand Management Execution with the GIS Organization
- Monthly GIS Bill-of-IT Financial Reviews
o Monthly & YTD Core Consumption Spend; Forecast Updates
o Scheduled Core Spend True-Up Reviews
o Monthly & YTD BU Pull and Cloud Spend; Forecast Updates
- PCLM / Laptop Support (Mac, Dell, Linux)
- Office Site Support
- Ad-Hoc Projects/Programs to support the Cat Digital Platform & SD&D GCIO organizations
The individual will be representing the SD&D GCIO IT organization with primary support for the CAT Digital platform group. Significant coordination with enterprise IT organizations (GIS, Segment IT organizations - CI, E&T, RI) will be required.
Basic Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge about Caterpillar business and processes, and comprehensive understanding of the IT organization(s), procedures/processes associated delivering technical solutions with robust solutions achieving expected business outcomes.
- Strong program/project management, communication, analytical and organizational leadership skills.
- Experience leading and facilitating multiple complex tasks that involve cross-functional teams comprised of IT staff and business unit personnel.
- Experience developing project plans, budget/expense management, program/project status reports, and facilitating stakeholder and sponsor updates.
- Bachelor's degree with 8 years of progressive leadership experience.
