Organization Overview:
Enterprise Business Solutions IDS provides solution delivery, release management, and service management capabilities for various functions across Global Services, such as Legal, Ethics and Compliance, Travel and Expense and many more. This position will serve as the Business Integrator responsible for engaging Lilly Legal business partners, IDS leaders, project sponsors/owners, and external suppliers to design and implement applications, platforms, and cloud solutions across the Ethics and Compliance (E&C) technology portfolio. Additionally, this position will partner with the Ethics and Compliance business and IDS team to deliver on key objectives and enable transformation initiatives. This position will report to the Associate Director of Ethics & Compliance IDS.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and establish long term Digital Transformation and data management strategy and an implementation roadmap
  • Manage business stakeholder engagement and communication, providing guidance and directing team (LCCI and IT Partner) workload activities to ensure timescales and requirements are met.
  • Lead and Manage EC IDS Governance meeting with periodic leadership update and communication
  • Develop a project plan in partnership with the project manager (PM) resource that identifies the sequence of tasks, resources, and key task dependencies.
  • Coordinate with business partners, Business Integrator and Scrum Master to transform the project plan into a set of user stories, establish the backlog, and oversee sprint execution. Coordinate project activities and communication across functional teams, stakeholders, and system owners.
  • Identify risks to project success, formulate mitigations and work with team members to implement.
  • Acts as a Subject Matter Expert with vendors and external partners including management of supplier relationships and agreements
  • Partner with the LCCI team to deliver E&C Analytics deliverable program (data management and engineering)
  • Be responsible for technological risks and make sure that the described solution proves to be consistent while meeting all the necessary requirements
  • Work closely with IT and Business team toward development of a steady state and highly supportable IT environment
  • Provide subject matter expertise on business processes and translation to technical solutions
  • Partner closely with other key IT groups to enable delivery including but not limited to Advanced Analytics, AWS, UI/UX Teams and others.
  • Partner with and engage key vendors on strategy, development and execution while holding them accountable to contracted work and ensuring a quality delivery.
  • Work closely with IT quality representative to drive toward a high degree of quality, compliance, and regulatory standards in the delivery of services and projects and ensure compliance with data security standards for all appropriate systems with the sphere of ownership
  • Build positive working relationships to ensure clear expectations and quality service, solution and support services.
  • Build upon strong partnership with the Enterprise Data Program and capabilities
  • Engage your IDS partners in translating strategic initiatives into projects; create the annual business plan including project proposals and estimates.



Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, management information systems or related field
  • More than five years of experience delivering technology programs or projects
  • Minimum 5 years of IT experience or related field
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position

  • Experience leveraging standard solutions to deliver maximum value
  • Experience with Salesforce and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Experience translating complex, ambiguous concepts into actionable plans
  • Strategic account management skills: research, listening, effective communication, and presentation
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage work within a rapidly changing environment
  • High learning agility
  • Strong initiative, self-management and ability to work through ambiguity
  • Focus on shared learning, continuous improvement, transformation, and adoption
  • Agile training/Product Owner or certifications
