About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking Cybersecurity Engineering Associates to join our Enterprise Technology organization through the Cybersecurity Rotational Program. The Cybersecurity organization is responsible for protecting the company from cyber threats, partnering with Wells Fargo businesses to assess and manage information security risk, delivering identity and access services, building and implementing security engineering solutions, and operating the firm's cybersecurity function. Through this program, you'll gain hands-on experience helping secure the technology that supports millions of customers while building the technical foundation for a career in cybersecurity and software engineering.
This two-year rotational program is designed to accelerate your growth through three eight-month assignments across multiple cybersecurity domains. You may work on areas such as Cyber Threat Fusion, Cloud Security, Secure Development, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Management, Identity and Access Management, Data Loss Prevention, or Third-Party Risk. Each rotation provides opportunities to solve real business challenges, contribute to enterprise-scale security solutions, and gain exposure to modern technologies used to protect critical systems and data.
In addition to your rotational experience, you will participate in Wells Fargo's Career Opportunities in Development and Engineering (CODE) Program, a two-year early-career development program designed to support your technical and professional growth. CODE provides technical training, mentorship, career coaching, networking opportunities, and a cohort experience that helps you build relationships with peers across the company.
CODE focuses on your overall career readiness, technical foundations, and professional skills while the rotational program focuses on your cybersecurity experience, giving you hands-on exposure to different cyber roles. Together, they build both your technical breadth and your cybersecurity depth.
If you're curious, technically minded, and passionate about solving complex problems, this program offers the opportunity to build software, strengthen security, and work with technologies that protect millions of customers. Through hands-on experience, mentorship, and meaningful project work, you'll develop the skills to grow into the next generation of cybersecurity and technology professionals.
In this role, you will:
  • Work on real cybersecurity challenges that help protect Wells Fargo's customers, systems, applications, and data from evolving cyber threats.
  • Rotate through multiple cybersecurity teams, gaining exposure to areas such as cloud security, secure development, identity and access management, threat detection, vulnerability management, and cyber risk.

  • Develop an understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), security, risk, compliance, and governance practices that support the delivery of secure and reliable technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with technology teams, cybersecurity partners, and business stakeholders to identify risks, solve problems, and deliver secure technology solutions.
  • Build technical expertise through structured training, mentorship, and on-the-job learning while working alongside experienced engineers and cybersecurity professionals.
