Job Title: CyberSecurity Engineer

Clearance Level: Secret

Required Certification(s): DOD 8570 compliance at the IAT Level III, Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level II, and Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP)  Infrastructure Support levels within six months of hire, IAT Level II at time of hire

Job Description

    Individual will have experience and expertise in a specific cyber domain area.
     
    a) Serves as subject matter expert possessing in-depth knowledge of a cyber domain area, such as program management, engineering, cloud security, vendor technology, cyber operations, offensive security, information assurance, security architecture and engineering, software assurance, cyber software development.
     
    b) Provides technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized efforts such as engineering custom solutions, conducting offensive security operations, performing targeted collection, degrading adversarial operations.
     
    c) Participates as needed in all phases of cyber operations lifecycle from operations to engineering with demonstrated experience supporting similar efforts.
     
    d) Applies principles, methods and knowledge of the functional area capability to specific customer requirements, principles and methods to exceptionally difficult and narrowly defined technical problems in security operations, planning and engineering Serves as subject matter expert, possessing in-depth knowledge and provide consultative or operational support on an ongoing basis. Applies principles, methods and knowledge of the functional area of capability to specific task order requirements, advanced software, systems and security principles and methods to exceptionally difficult and narrowly defined technical problems.

Education & Background

    Typically has a bachelor degree, and 2-3 years of experience, or equivalent relevant work experience; e.g., each year of work experience may be substituted for each year of education required.

Working Conditions

    Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are not hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.

    Sedentary – 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/carry of small articles. Some occasional walking or standing may be required. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
