Positioned within the Kraków technology delivery centre, this role is an exciting opportunity to join a growing engineering and operations team dedicated to defending Danaher’s businesses. You’ll engage in deploying leading security technologies, responding to threats in real time, and shaping the future of our cybersecurity posture.
The Cybersecurity Engineer at Danaher will be responsible for deploying, managing, and maintaining security tools, ensuring they meet evolving business and security requirements. This role will also focus on developing, monitoring, and improving key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure effectiveness and drive continuous improvement across the security program.
This position is within the Danaher Corporate Information Security team, reporting to Principal Cloud Security Engineer. This is a Danaher Corporate role, hosted by our Cytiva operating company in Krakow.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Design, develop, and maintain the Cortex Cloud/Prisma Cloud CNAPP platform and all associated modules, including (but not limited to) CSPM, Run-time protection, Application security.
Collaborate efficiently with Danaher cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal functionality.
Implement new features and enhance existing functionalities to improve platform performance and security.
Address complex technical challenges by delivering robust and scalable solutions.
Partner with stakeholders to uphold Zero Trust security principles, securing identity, device, and access management.
The essential requirements of the job include:
5–7 years of progressive experience in software engineering with demonstrated expertise in architecting and designing high-performance distributed platforms.
Advanced proficiency in Python, Go, PowerShell including experience with performance optimization and debugging.
Strong architectural acumen, with comprehensive knowledge of cloud-native design, security best practices, and scalability patterns.
High level of Knowledge on SaaS platforms and MSSP Concept platforms
Prisma Cloud/Cortex Cloud, IaaS (AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI/Alibaba)
Preferred skills and experience:
Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP)
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Relevant certifications (security track) AWS/Azure/GCP.
